When you look at this wooden bridge, maybe you see one that has been somewhat neglected, not as strong as it once was and showing its age on many parts of it. Just like that bridge, our heart can be the same way.
There is someone who can give us a new heart, no, not made by man, but made by the Lord. The Lord can do so much with a broken or hurting heart, especially when that heart, like that wooden bridge, has become weak. When we look at the bridge/someone’s heart, we see something damaged, but God sees something that can be repaired. All we have to do is come to Him with open arms and an open heart, He will do the rest, yes indeed, the restoration of our heart. That’s when, for a lot of people, a testimony is made.
Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
