At GivenThanks Ministry, we want to encourage others to learn about their God given gifts. To open their heart to the Lord and His Word. To realize God still speak, still blesses people with visions, dreams and gives word to many. He is a God of I still do not I once did.

At times we may also post pictures of God's amazing creation. Pictures that we have taken on trips to our local national forest and other places.
WHO WE ARE
Here at GivenThanks Ministry, we want to encourage people and help them mature in their walk with the Lord. I (Patricia Styers) and my best friend and sister in the Lord (Janice Russell) will be posting things that will encourage, challenge and strengthen you in your faith. Both of us are, first and foremost, servants of the Lord. We love Him with all our hearts and seek to follow Him and please Him above all. Our passion is sharing about the Lord through personal ministry, writing blogs and books. So far, we have five books published and there are many more coming soon. They range from Christian fiction, Christian romance and Biblical teaching books.
Janice Russell is gifted in story-telling and most of the story lines for the fiction books are given to her by God. I get to add some to the books as I edit them. Janice (J. L. Russell-the author name she uses) says that by the time I have finished editing, I have written half the book. LOL! Although the books are fictitious, some of the dreams and visions in the books were actual dreams and visions that God gave her. She has a prophetic gifting as a seer so God speaks to her often in words, dreams and visions. She spends many hours each day with the Lord. When God tells her to share, she shares on her Wordpress account: fullflowministryblog.wordpress.com.
I am an exhorter and love to encourage and teach people so they can become strong in the Lord and then teach others. The books that I have written are teaching books to help people come to a greater knowledge of the Word of God. Of course, I also co-author books with J. L. Russell. HOPE HIDDEN
Hope was waiting for an opportunity to escape her abusive marriage. She had suffered so much abuse and knew that she could not continue to live like that. She did not know when the opportunity to escape would come, but she started preparing for that day in hopes that it would come. When it seemed like all hope was hidden, she had her chance.
Hope went from running in fear of being found by her abusive husband, to a new live that she could never have imagined. There were some pitfalls along the way, but Hope would find that God was with her and would use her past in amazing ways. Follow her journey in Hope Hidden.
