When I came to know God, when I opened my heart to Him, that’s when I started to see the evidence of His goodness all through my life. How He got me through the many things I went through in life; being molested as a child, raped as a teenager and the many other things I went through. I also see the many times God protected me, kept satan from taking me out.
The enemy knew once I found my way to the light, that I would not just walk but run toward God. He knew once I gave my heart to God, that I would never back down, never give up. He knew the calling upon my life and knew I would become a warrior for God. Yes, the enemy tried many times to take me out, but God had other plans.
From a few words spoken, I found my way; the words pierced my heart. I hit the ground running and I will not stop until I take my last breath, when it comes to serving God. I see the evidence, the goodness of God all through my life, even during the darkest of times.
