What Are You Using?

You know we can come up with a million reasons why we are not doing something. Like, we don’t have time, we are to busy, we don’t know how, we are to tired, we are need things to be a certain way, we can’t because of this or that and the many other million reasons, why, when it comes to doing what God wants us to do we don’t do it.

What reason are you using? What reason are you using to not do what God has called you to do? Are you letting the things of the world pull you away or using them as a reason, alcohol, drugs, people or a person, life events that happened to you, life events in general? Do you look for or make excuses for why?

Where would we be if Jesus had given reasons why He would not do what He did. What if He started saying, Father, they will not listen, they will do one thing but then do another. Many will come but then turn away when something happens. They want things their way. They will turn to man instead of You. Many will become religious. Many will not believe. Many will seek for You Father in many different places but not where they should, which is between their heart and Yours. We would be living in a different world if Jesus had not done what He did or maybe this world would not be here at all.

We can come up with a million reasons why we are not doing what God is wanting us to do but seriously, really think about your answer, is any one of them a good reason for not doing it? If you had to stand in front of God and He asked you, why you did not do it? How do you think He would receive your answers?

I pray for each of us when it comes time for us, when we take that last breath, when we are standing before Him, may we hear well done my child, not I never knew you.

Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
