Stop it!

Stop trying to be like others, that’s not who God has made you to be! Find out who you are in Him and spend time with Him. Read His word and listen for His voice.

Stop trying to impress man! You can work until you drop, buy everything there is, the newest cell phone, the newest car, the newest computer, have many degrees or certificates, have many names before and after your given name, be known by many people, listen to many people or do the many other things… but none of that will bring you closer to God. What gets you closer to God, is knowing Him. How do you get to know someone? You have to spend time in their presence. God wants your heart and wants you to spend time with Him, all the other stuff doesn’t IMPRESS Him. When you give Him your time and your heart, that moves Him, that impresses Him.
