Cherries in the air!

I had a vision yesterday morning 11/18/20. As I was sitting here in the living room, I saw something hanging in the air out a way in front of me. It’s hanging there in the air, no tree, no bush or anything. I started to walk toward it and get close, my first thought it was cherries, with very long stems, hanging there in the air. They looked like cherries; except they were a beautiful purple in color. They reminded me of grapes. In every way they were like cherries except for the color and the stem being longer.

As I got right up to them, a large but shallow wooden bowl appears in my left arm and I am holding it up against me.

I knew to reach up and start pulling the purple grape/cherries out of the air, so I did. As I pulled them off, I set one at a time in the bowl with the stem standing up and I got just enough to cover the bowl, even up to the edge. I then stepped back and when I did, I see a wooden table over to my right, so I walk toward it. As I get up to it, I take the bowl that I am still carrying, holding it with my left and against my waist. I move my right hand around gripping the edge and I turn the bowl toward the table. I pour out half the purple grape/cherries onto the table. I do not count but I know in my spirit that I gave half, and the other half is mine to have. After pouring them on the table I look up and I see behind the table was a large white cross, then the vision ended.

Cherries as well as grapes are also a common metaphor for something blessed, good and prosperous, which could be found in many of the Old Testament’s passages. In the Bible, grapes symbolize wealth, abundance, prosperity and fertility. Hebrew Bible mentions grapes as a representative of seven species, the only agricultural products accepted as offerings in the temple.

The purple in color of the fruit, represent royalty, they belong to God, were valuable, yet He blessed me with being able to receive them. I then give Him half of the amount back, for they belonged to God, for they all are not mine to keep. He blessed me with being able to keep half of the blessing.

Some may think, you had to give half back, that’s not right! I look at it this way, the fruit was His. He blessed me with it, and He received half of them back, blessing me with the other half to keep. I could have received nothing, but I did not hesitate to give Him half of the fruit. I came to the table and the cross and poured out what He blessed me with, for no other reason than it was His.

Mark 12:17 “Give to God what belongs to God.”

Malachi 3:10 “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

2 Corinthians 9:7 “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
