Had an odd dream just before waking up this morning. I no sooner sat down when God gave me me part of the meaning and Pat the other.
Pat and I were going across the very top of a mountain. Right at the top of this mountain that ran for a long way, there were rocker recliners lined up, one right beside the other. In order to get from one side to the other of this long top we had to climb across the rocker recliners. You would step from one to the next having to hold onto the back part and every time you did the rocker recliner would of course move, rock. Finally, we got across the mountain top. When I got down and looked back to my left and up, it wasn’t as bad or as high as we thought when coming across it.
I then noticed to my right, off a way, was Pat, she was busy doing something. I knew I needed to go get something, so I walked by her and made my way to where I needed to go. I found a total of six bottles that were very close together. The three to my right were some kind of cosmetics and the three to the left were something else. Pat and I knew we did not want the ones to the right, but to get the three to the left.
The meaning of the dream is even though this year has been rocky and we at times wonder how things are going to get paid we are making it by God’s grace and blessings. We got past the rocky part, the mountain. What is awaiting for us are six gifts but three of them are more cosmetic things, things that may look good to the eye but like makeup it just a cover for what it truly is. The other three are what we truly are wanting and needing, and they are what we took.
God showed me in this dream that yes, this year things have been rocky, but we will make it through it and what awaits us will be blessings. We will need to be cautious, have our eyes open. The enemy will try to throw in three things that may look good but truly are not but even though he does this we will see his schemes and pick the three things God truly wants for us.
Remember satan can and will put things on your path to try and distract you away from what God truly wants for you. Stay focus on the road before you, the path God has for you, and you will make it. Rebuke and turn away from that which looks good on the surface, but underneath is truly not what God wants for you.
Philippians 3:13-14 “I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
