Let them gossip, talk and judge…

No matter what we do there will be others who will judge us in one way or another. How we react to it though makes a big difference in who we are. Instead of judging them, we can pray for them. Even when we feel we are surrounded by the enemy and we see them attacking from every side, we must stand strong.

Let them judge, let them gossip, let them talk, for God sees it all. Don’t do what they are doing to you, back to them. When you do, you are putting yourself in the same place as them. Instead, pray for those who come against you, those who talk about you, those who judge you. When you do that, you are not giving the enemy anything to use against you. There is only one whose opinion that should matter in our life, that one is God’s.

Remember this verse when the enemy attacks, “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Matthew 5:44-45 “I say to you, love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may [show yourselves to] be the children of your Father who is in heaven.”

Songs included, “Surrounded” by Upperroom and “You Say” by Lauren Daigle.
