I have said that was different before and this mornings encounter, my time with God, well, it was different for sure.
Walking with God can be very interesting sometimes, let me change that, it’s always interesting! I never know what He will say, show me or what may happen, this morning was interesting for sure.
My best friend and sister in Christ, Pat and I went somewhere yesterday. It was an enjoyable day; weather was nice, and we just enjoy the day away from home, out looking to take pictures of God’s creation.
When God wakes me up 99.99999999% of the time I get up but this morning when He woke me up at 3:33am I was so tired, I looked at the clock, saw the time, closed my eyes and was back asleep in a second or two. When I finally woke up it was four thirty something. I got up and came into the living room, sat down listening for the Lord. As I sat there suddenly a light appeared out in front of me on a large dark blue area rug we have out in front of the three chairs in the living room. It was not in a certain shape or anything, it was like a blob of light, maybe three feet long and a foot wide in the highest part. There was nothing in the room, house or even outside that would make this light show up there, it’s a rug, a dark rug. It stayed there for a good five minutes. At one point I took my left foot and moved it out to it trying to see if I could feel something there but felt nothing. I then leaned forward and took my left hand doing the same but felt nothing. As I leaned back in the chair still looking at it without even thinking about it I suddenly started to pray in tongues and when I did, within milliseconds it disappeared. There is an outside wall to my left, when the light disappeared, I heard something, like it was walking down the length of wall hitting it being pushed up against it. Once you get to the end of the mobile home there is a small closed in room on the front of the mobile home which has aluminum siding on the lower part. When whatever it was got past the mobile home wall, it hit it the siding, like it you if you pushed someone up against it.
I remember maybe a year and half to two years ago I woke up to noise one night. I heard and saw an angel battling evil. It woke me up out of a deep sleep. It came through my roommate’s bedroom, into mine, through my bathroom, and out the side door. Then as they fought, they were pushing against the side of the mobile home. Nothing could get there because of a ramp and other things. I heard them battling, being pushed against the mobile home, the siding popping from it. Like two people fighting, they went all the way down and out into the back section of the land behind us. The Bible tells us there is fighting going on in heaven.
Ephesians 6:12 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
Revelation 12:7-9 “Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”
Daniel 10:13 “But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.”
Romans 8:38-39 “For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Ephesians 3:10 “So now through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God [in all its countless aspects] might now be made known [revealing the mystery] to the [angelic] rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.”
Colossians 2:15 “When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the cross.”
Revelation 12:7-9 “And war broke out in heaven, Michael [the archangel] and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels fought, but they were not strong enough and did not prevail, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, the age-old serpent who is called the]devil and Satan, he who continually deceives and seduces the entire inhabited world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”
Security of the One Who Trusts in the Lord.
Psalm 91:1-16 “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!” For He will save you from the trap of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and a wall. You will not be afraid of the terror of night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Nor of the destruction (sudden death) that lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but danger will not come near you. You will only [be a spectator as you] look on with your eyes And witness the [divine] repayment of the wicked [as you watch safely from the shelter of the Most High]. Because you have made the Lord, [who is] my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will command His angels in regard to you, to protect and defend and guard you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you do not [even] strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and cobra; The young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot. “Because he set his love on Me, therefore I will save him; I will set him [securely] on high, because he knows My name [he confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon him, no, never]. “He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. “With a long life I will satisfy him and I will let him see My salvation.”
